World Sustainable Toy Day 2025
A fun, free family event in Crows Nest for children aged 0-5 Event DetailsFind usPlay that doesn’t cost the earth!
Join us for a fun and creative morning celebrating World Sustainable Toy Day on Friday 21 November 2025, 9:30am-11:30am.
This year, we’re exploring how play can be sustainable, imaginative and affordable by creating toys and play spaces from recycled materials. You’ll discover that you don’t have to buy new toys to have fun – with a few recycled bits and a big imagination, you can create something wonderful together, and help the planet at the same time. So, let your children explore, roll up your sleeves, and let’s see what we can make together!
Free entry. Morning tea provided. Everyone welcome!
Hosted by the Kath Dickson Toy Library and Playgroup team as part of World Sustainable Toy Day.

About World Sustainable Toy Day
World Sustainable Toy Day was created by Sustained Fun to inspire families and the toy industry to think differently about play. Held each year one week before Black Friday, it encourages people to make eco-friendly choices and explore how toys can be part of climate action. The day shines a light on sustainable, creative, and circular approaches to play — proving that fun doesn’t have to cost the earth.
