One of our favourite events each year, the Wilsonton Early Years Network (WEYN) Under 5s Day is a free morning in the park for families in the Wilsonton area, including Wilsonton Heights, Rockville, Harlaxton, Fairview Heights and North Toowoomba.
Activities include:
- Baby play and sensory fun
- Arts, crafts and interactive games
- Skittles, wagons, teddies and rope pathways
- Sock toss, paper bag puppets, messy trays and more!
It’s also a great chance to connect with local services to learn about playgroups, child health, parenting support and more. The SES will be there too with emergency kit tips for families. Plus, there’ll be a free sausage sizzle.
Free entry. Everyone welcome!

Become a stallholder
We’re inviting organisations that support families and early childhood development to be part of this year’s WEYN Under 5s Day!
We already have confirmation from organisations including ACT for Kids, First 5 Forever, PCYC, Child Youth and Family Health, Wilsonton State School Jarjums Playgroup, and Toowoomba West Early Childhood Development Program.
If you would like to join us as a stallholder, you’ll need to:
- Offer a free activity for children and families on the day
- Be able to bring all your own equipment and staff
- Represent an organisation aligned with supporting the early years
There is no cost to participate.
