Child protection training for compliance in Queensland
Child protection training for compliance in Queensland
Child protection training is a critical requirement for all individuals involved in the care and education of children in Queensland, in line with government regulations.
As mandated by the Queensland Government, under section 162A of the Education and Care Services National Law, the approved provider of an education and care service must ensure that key staff—including nominated supervisors, persons in day-to-day charge, and family day care coordinators—complete an approved child protection course.
It’s important to note that in-house training does not meet these requirements. The training must be completed through an accredited provider.
Kath Dickson Institute is proud to offer CHCPRT025 Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk as a stand-alone unit, providing an accessible way for education and care professionals to fulfill their legal obligations while gaining valuable skills that help keep children safe.
Kath Dickson Institute operates in accordance with the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2011, Standards for RTOs 2015 and is a Skills Assure Supplier for the User Choice and Vet Investment programs for Queensland Government. National Provider Code 5394.
